We think about capital “N” Nature as the phenomena of the physical world collectively, including plants, animals, the landscape, and other features and products of the earth, as opposed to humans or human creations. But humans are also part of Nature. We know that the elements of our bodies are the same elements that make up the rest of Nature. We are made of star stuff and earth stuff and life stuff. We are a part of the universe essentially and irrevocably. We follow the same rhythms of conception, birth, development, maturity, decline and death as all other life and in the cosmos. And we can be self-aware of our place in this vast process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our nature as humans allows us to act and be acted upon by life itself. What a wonder it is to be embedded in the awareness of the complexity that surrounds and enriches our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we only identify ourselves with the difficulties of life, we miss out on being inspired by the beauty, diversity and aliveness that surrounds and<\/em> is within us. Take time to sink into Nature that you may be energized, refreshed and revived to celebrate being alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
